About South River Landscape

South River Landscape prides itself on attentive customer service.  The owner Chris Butler personally returns all phone calls and emails.  He meets with you to discuss your project and does all of the design work himself.  He is always on site managing each project to ensure quality and to address any concerns.  Chris runs only one small crew of laborers and only one job at a time so your project always receives full attention.  South River Landscape is a small company... by design.

For over 20 years Chris has worked in landscaping, honing his design sensibilities and perfecting his methods.  He graduated from the University of Massachusetts' Stockbridge School of Agriculture with an A.S. in Landscape Design.

Chris is always re-educating himself through attending seminars and lectures and is a recent graduated of the University of Massachusetts’ Green School.

He is a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist and Massachusetts Certified Arborist.
